From the love and the respect for the soil joined with the control of each of the phases of the production born the Marcato’s products, family runs business which has placed its roots in those huge gardens which are the vineyards of the Alpone Valley and of the Berici Hills.

In this area between the towns of Vicenza and Verona the estate Marcato, that is proud of the his own qualification of "Producer", owns now days an estate that covers 60 hectares (150 acres), 50 hectares (125 acres) of which are planted with vineyards. In total every year the yield is around 600 tons of grapes from the areas Doc of the Soave Colli Scaligeri, Soave Classico, Monti Lessini Durello and Colli Berici for a production of 4000 hectoliters of wine.

In the vineyards of the villages of Roncà, Montecchia di Crosara, Monteforte d’Alpone and Soave the varieties of grapes Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave, Durella, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are growth and meanwhile on the Hills of Sarego and Grancona in the Berici Hills the red grapes Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Tocai Rosso.

This aim to obtain through a controlled distribution the right prestige and originality for the wines produced. It is another element, if we want, of that red thread which every single choice binds together: costing attention at the countryside, to the grapes and the cellar, on the wave of the philosophy which a good wine wants be born from of a good soil.
