Gianni Tessari is one the most important names in the wine field in Verona.In his career, since the Eighties he has signed successful wines, acknowledged with international awards.
In 2013 Gianni Tessari arrived at Società Agricola Marcato and a new challenge was born. That of competing with Durello e its fermentation with the traditional method, bringing this wine towards new peaks of quality. And that of expressing his stature as oenologist through the comparison with three different and complementary terroirs: Monti Lessini, Soave, Colli Berici.
This is how a winery that is developed in two brands was born: Marcato and GIANNITESSARI. The first represents the sparkling wine production, the second the still wines.
