Barattaro Estate is situated at the feet of the Lessini Hills in the village of Montecchia di Crosara in the heart of the Alpone valley area, 32 km east of Verone and 27 west of Vicenza.
Barattaro covers 2 hectares of land these are planted with the variety Pinot Noir on a clayey soil of sedimentary and volcanic origin because near the Calvarina Volcano at the elevation of 120 meters on the sea level, enjoying light wet and warm days and cool nights during the growing season. The grapes are picked the first days of September.
