This wine is a blend of the selected wines come from the Baraldo Block of the La Giareta estate, in the Berici Hills at 250 meters elevation.IGT Veneto Rosso Denomination:

80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet franc (dried). Variety:
fermentation stainless steel tanks at 26°C per 15 days with a daily pump-over and delestage during it and even 7 days post-maceration.
Vinification:
20 months in oak; separate malolactic fermentation in new 225 liters french oak barrels blended and then aged 11 months in the same barrels. After 9 months in 4000 liters moldavian oak casks. Maturation:
Winemaker's notes: Youthful intense deep ruby color, complex aromas of red berries, vanilla, liquirice and tobacco notes. Rich, ripe concentrated fruit with medium-full body and smooth tannins sensation with a very well integrated acidic lenght.
Unfiltered wine. Drink now or cellar to 2012.
