Maffea Blanc

Brut Traditional method

Produced with the grapes from Lessini Hills, in particularly some grapes from La Maffea block and Barattaro block in Roncà then stocked in the natural underground caves of the Azienda Agricola Marcato for many years.

100% Pinot Noir Variety:

soft pressing of whole bunches grapes with selection of free run juice until 0,4 bar of pressure, then fermented at cool temperature 14-16°C with 50% malolactic fermentation then blended and bottled for the secondary fermentation. Vinification:

at least 60 months on yeast lees. Maturation:

Champagne color. Complex floral aromas with a strawberry hint under covered by biscuit notes. The palate is ample and elegant, with richness of baked bread and yeast. Good balance between mineral acidity and the body with a persistent after taste.
